Learn to skate at Central Iowa’s premiere ice skating rink – Buccaneer Arena!
If you’re looking for a new, fun activity for your child this Winter season, join us for a 6-day introduction to ice skating. Not only is ice skating a great form of exercise, it’s also FUN! After this 6-day course, your child should be able to skate around an outdoor rink.
Lessons begin on Tuesday, February 7 !

6-day introductory class for $ 100 or you can take advantage of our $90 Early Bird Registration Fee when you sign up before January 31 st for Session 3 and March 5th for Session 4.
Registration includes:
1 hour session (30 min. lesson plus 30 min. practice session)
Free rental skates (All sizes may not be available. Skaters 5 and under must wear a bicycle helmet.)
If you plan to bring your own ice skates, please do not bring double-runner skates.
Professional coaches include former members of the Russian National Team and former Disney on Ice performers.

· Beginner Skating Class Levels:All new beginner students, ages 3-5 should register for Snowplow Sam 1. New beginner students, ages 6 and older, should register for Basic 1 and beginner Adult students should register for Adult Beginner.
· First Day of Class: Students should arrive at least 15 minutes early. Students will meet their instructor on the ice in the designated area.
· What to Wear: It is recommended that Snowplow Sam and young children wear a helmet. Gloves or mittens are also necessary for all skaters. Students should wear long pants or other skating attire that allows freedom of movement. A sweater or jacket is recommended!
